Many of the early settlers of Gem Valley were members of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints. Their descendants still remain in the valley
and consequently the majority of citizens residing in Gem Valley are members of
this church. Ecclesiastical leadership is provided through the Grace
Stake, which is headquartered in the Grace Stake Center and includes seven wards. Released time for religious instruction is available for high school students in the seminary building which is located just north of the high School.
In addition, a variety of other faiths are represented by the good citizens of this valley and everyone works together for the benefit of all, regardless of their religious affiliation. The following is a listing of the churches in Gem Valley and Caribou County.
