The citizens of Grace and the surrounding area have traditionally supported a
strong recreation program for their young people. The Grace School
District offers volley ball, basket ball and track programs for their young
women. The young men participate in football, basketball, wrestling and
track. In addition, through Central Links, the young people can learn
golfing skills. With three basketball courts within the city limits, the
young people have many opportunities to play basketball, either in little
league, in the school program, or in church sponsored leagues.
Central Links Golf, a nine hole golf course located about 10 minutes west of Grace, was opened several years ago and is still undergoing expansion. The local geography was used to make a very unique and challenging course. Lessons are available. The course features a new clubhouse that has toilet facilities, snacks and soft drinks.
Winter snow machining is enjoyed by many locals as well as visitors to the valley. ATV's can also be very useful in the spring, summer and fall to see the beautiful valley or visit the mountains to the east and west. Hunters from many other states visit to bag their trophy in the mountains surrounding Grace. Fishing spots abound in the area's lakes, ponds and streams that are available in just minutes. Boating and water skiing are on the agenda for the water enthusiast with a local reservoir only fifteen minutes away.
In addition to the above, the City of Grace maintains an excellent park with rest room and playground facilities, a sewage dump for motor homes, a firepit, a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a large playing field.
