GRACE AREA INFORMATION

MAIN AREA INDUSTRY: This includes farming, including beef, dairy, potatoes, grain and hay. In addition, we have phosphate mining and manufacturing.

WATER and SEWER: The City of Grace has tapped into a number of springs in the nearby mountains. in addition, they have two large capacity wells to supplement the springs during dry seasons. They also have a modern Sewage Disposal Plant that has a capacity to handle a much larger population than is presently being served.

GARBAGE COLLECTION: The City of Grace supplies large plastic garbage containers to each household or business. Weekly, the city crews empty the containers into a city owned automated garbage truck where the refuse is taken to a suitable disposal site.

HOUSING: A variety of housing is available including both newer and older homes. Housing costs are relatively low compared to other areas. Many excellent tradesman are available for building or remodeling. A new subdivision, Burton Canyon Estates, has 22 lots developed for construction of new homes.
